Anyone ever heard of this colour on an E30?
Done a google search on production numbers/dates etc but didnt get far.
Is it rare?

I thought it looks similar to Diamond Shwartz but non metallic?

From a BMW Dealer point of view it is as rare as rocking horse s**t

Its a flat grey.

I dont mind it. Found on e34"s and e36"s normally.

Used to look after an early j plate 318 e36 in vulcan grey (theres a vulcan e36 in the breakers as I speak)

It was rare on the e36 and e34 but although I knew it was available on an e30 I've never seen one. I've read it was available from the 91 model year on. So this must be a late one surely? It's a solid colour grey with (IMO) a slightly brownish tinge.

Looking forward to doing it to be honest although going to be hard work getting in done in 3 weeks!
Think ill leave the engine swap to the end though just incase i need to use it.
Bryan who im getting it off seems a nice guy though.Straight talking and has told me all the faults with it,mostly which are very petty.

This one will be put together better than the other,just the little things that could be a bit neater.
Cant wait to get started,looking forward to driving it home Sunday.Going to take some getting used to a 1600 again though 8O

well it might be true....it may well be the only e30 left in that colour, at least in the enthusiast circles.

Right This colour was used on the E30 as a test bed for it to be released on the E36.

As far as I am aware there was approx 50 UK cars with this colour. Most of which

were test mules.
