no heat from the heater at all,
got the e34 header fitted to the bulkhead area without it hitting the bonnet,its close but not hitting,it looks well up there if i could get the thing bled,the front off the engine sits slightly higher than the rad ,this the way they all sit?changed the rad to a e36 325tds rad out off a car i had broke ,its a lot bigger but still no difference.

fitted a fan from a hdi xsara,its blowing the right way ok,its big enough, it fills the complete space at the front.

The only thing i can think of now is the heater valve or the matrix itself!
Maybe it isn't opening and allowing the coolant to circulate or the matrix is blocked?
Perhaps you could try bypassing the heater matrix by joining the 2 pipes that go to it and see if that makes a difference?

Also I think that this double s shape hose to heater shoud be very suspected. Try to change it to something more strait.
Basically there no magic in any cooling system (and specially in E30 generation cars) so it must be something quite simple.
