Just seen updated pics of car dude, down at Ants workshop !

You got a good base car to work from, and at a good price too, nice and solid and not a toffee Apple as Ant calls them,,

Will be your car that shall be putting mine behind then lol,

Hope all goes well for you mate and not too many probs swopping everything over.

That's the one fella, many thanks for the positive comments.

The new shell is no minter but looks to be very clean so far and hasnt been welded so overall i should end up with a much better e30 at the end of all this.

Looking forward to getting back on the road, I miss this

Ahhhhhh that was your beast of an engine,

Looking at the car last week mate, and to be honest you would not know it to be the same car, but what a testiment to these motors cos you were able to drive it back,

What are your plans dude with regards to blinging your new ride up,,

only saying this cos my bro has his own bodyshop in nottingham, ( i know its a way-a-way ) but he don't cut corners and he loves and drives a nice 30,

Me thinking cos its white,,,, warsteiner ?????

I'm sure that whatever you do ODE will live on..

The new turd will not be really be a bling motor, more clean OEM with subtle mods.

Its not the white E30 down there though, its the sterling silver one outside.
Are you thinking of the touring?

Ah sorry mate,, only had about an hour with him, and we covered that many subjects, and cos i left at 04.20 in the morning was feeling quite squiffy after a 50 Mph cruise with trailer ( not good ) and after 5 and a half hours drive ( monday morning traffic/ roadworks / M1 / M25 was not taking everything in, or probably in all honesty was beyond my mechanical and technical skills )
But i know your new car now,, one of the rarest coloured and most desirable coloured cars in the E30 world ( Ants words ) ( because he is GOD, i believe, )

Mines the Old banger ( only joking ) with the compomotives on,, only dropped it down to him on Monday 11 June,,
Been booked in for months,, But hey,, if you want the best then yo gonna have to wait...

Yours was sat by the side of D1 MMY,

My car is with Ant for the next 5 weeks

Nice one Oz... New one does indeed look alright and will be a good base for a nice motor once you have transferred over all the goodies

Good to catch up the other day at A-Tech dude. Sad to see ODE in that state, but your onwards and upwards attitude is very commendable sir :D :notworthy:

With the help of lots of Zone heros on the trip, managed to bodge up the car and drive her home.
She still drove pretty straight but the bonnet would start flapping a fair bit over a ton winkeye
