hola people!
this being my first post (of probably many) id like to say a big hello and congratulate you on a great forum!
right, down to business. im after few bits of advise that hopefully will get me on the road to recovery(excuse the pun)
basically i drive an e30 320i conv. auto on a g plate, is it possible to chip these?
my next question kinda relates to the first one. when i put it into drive the revs drop slightly and was told it could be an ecu problem, ive checked the code which is 0 261 200 318. if i change it would i need to get an exact copy and would i need specilist tools/diagnostics to set it up?

right last question (few!) im missing a part which controls the electric mirrors, (the little connection which goes between the wires and the mirror switch) any ideas where i could get one from? im litterally pulling my hair out!

any advice would be brilliant.

regards

when u say the rev's drop-by how much?!

most autos will have some rev drop when put in drive as the engine has to work harder, because it is turning the torque converter...

a drop of about 100rpm is ok
