Didn't have courage to put this Technical question under Technical section.... have a Kenwood cassette/radio/front panel to CD in boot system, and now have iPOD. What is easiest way to get the iPOD to play thru the car's speaker system ? Thanks.

Another way to hardwire your ipod into your headunit would be to use the 13 pin plug.

second that.sound quality wont be 100% unless you have an i-pod ready headunit where you connect you i-pod through an adaptor......smithy318i's suggestion is probably the best.....better than the other radio frequency adaptors which are complete wast of time
dedicated ipod head units are great, but for the matter of a couple of quid, may as well try the adapter
(you may be lucky and get one for free with your fuel, they always seem to be giving them away at my garage.)

I've tried the cassette adapters and found they are a complete waste of time. The wire looked a mess and the sound was wank.
I have no issues with my Griffen road trip. I think the problem with many fm modulator types is that they dont have an infinate range to choose from. The Road Trip runs in 0.1 steps right from 88.8 to 104.0mhz.
I use the above in a couple of my cars with no problems but in the e30 I've just fitted an early Pioneer P series head unit and a Pioneer CD-IB100 in place if the multi CD. It's excellent. Fly lead in the glove glove, plug the ipod in and away you go, all controlled from the head unit.
