Meguairs and Auto Glym seem to be the most popular of the products on the zone. Trick is NOT to wash the car in the sun. wash it in the shade.

erm.. Chamois Leather it off afterwards. That will stop all the nasty streaks appearing on the bodywork as it dries. Leaving you with a nice shiny looking car.

I washed an Volvo XC90 a couple of weekends ago in the blistering sunshine and coz of the size of the car I only managed to leather 1 side of the car before the rest of it went streaky.
Done the E30 yesterday and she looks spanking!! Nothing like a clean motor in the sunshine.

Meguires. No doubt. The polish is excellent and the quick detailer is like magic in a bottle. I never leave home without it.
As for the sun and tan bit, i'll leave you lot to sort it out amongst yourselves. You see, some of us have been blessed by the All Mighty and we have lifetime tans that dont go away. Even when you wash

Yeah Daryll only hazard is the sun dries it so quickly there is often the problem of the streaks. I did mine and it was glistening in the sunshine. Took it to the pub for my dads Birthday and loads of people in the garden were saying how nice it was, good condition etc. Parked it under a tree, came back the next day and it was dusty, mucky and covered in bird sh**.
Sometimes wonder why I bother

This is very true, I'm sure they do it on purpose -
Birds, have all the area and space they want to crap, nope still all down the back window
Cats - again could sleep and walk in most places, yet sandy footprints all across the bonnet.
Scrots and idiots and motorised scooters, doesnt matter what time it is, really is no need, If they want to hear a noise like that, DO it inside with their mothers hairdryer on level 3 and keep the windows shut!

I have a Turtle wax one, but there all the same really.
Does the job perfect.
