Took the seats out of the IS today.
They need the bolster on the drivers side re-done, but apart from that and needing a good clean they're in good condition. Apparently the pattern is a bit special.
Either way, they're better than my comfort ones that were falling apart.
Oh and a new steering wheel, no idea what it is but I assume it has tech 1 or 2 or something in the name. To be honest I dont care, its nicer than the 4 spoke wrongness its replaced.

Yup they're the ones.
These 'criminals' seem to have left their shared braincell at home that day. Firstly they steal a car then take it 200yds up the road to part up... and secondly they steal one, apparently for the interior, which has a battered interior.
It takes allsorts eh.
Chris.....

hehe. That pile is 73.5kg of stuff I dont want.
The wife seems to be under the illusion I will be putting the interior back... I keep telling her that she should get that little runabout she keeps mentioning
I'll be stripping everything else out from the rear this weekend. Might put the passenger front doorcard back in though as it looks a bit messy in the corner of my vision and hampers the 'daily driver track car' effect.

munky- I'd advise trying to lose some weight from the front end too- making it totally light at the rear may harm traction if drag racing...munky30 wrote:hehe. That pile is 73.5kg of stuff I dont want.

Too light at the rear also akes for much slidyness in the wet

Well it will be predominantly used at drift days as thats what I'm most keen to get into, with drag racing a close second so slidey slidey catchy munky is my main aim.
I can always drop a few chunks of metal in the back for drag days. I know of an M40 engine block that would be ideal.
