I'm after some more advice please.

After Brian's advice about my clutch i decide with the help of a friend to change the clutch. While it was all apart we decided to also change the diff for the LSD i had just purchased. This has taken a couple of weeks due scheduling conflicts with my friend (he runs a mobile garage and works for an endurance bike racing team) but it is nearly done.

The problem i have now is when i refitted the prop it appears to rub slightly just in front of the diff carrier while the car is still on axle stands. There are a few old marks on the prop where it has obviously been rubbing in the past.

I can't think why it would rub except that when the car goes back on the floor the car will settle and there will be some clearance between the prop and where it is rubbing.

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Rich

Its rubbing because you have it on axles stands.
The weight of the car on the stands is pushing on the subframe bushes.
once you take the load off the subframe it will revert to normal.
