Had a similar incident in my 325, still miss the car and it was like 4/5 years ago. When your cars a proper mint one and something like this happens, it really pisses you off, but dont worry if it cant be fixed, im sure theres plenty more mint m3's out there!!

my dealers says m3 shells deffo still available bout 4k iirc

I hope it all gets sorted. But I fear that firstly the insurance company will say "Its only an old G reg BMW. Heres £2K" or they'll list on on the total loss register and any value in the car will be buggered!

FWIW Wings and Hood are £400 ish each. F Bumper is over a grand!

p.s. Dnt rag the Passat too hard they're pretty fragile nowadays!

was only about six months back there was a stock of about ten m3 shells it's just finding where they were search throught the zone for reshells

Terrible news mate, at the weekend the same thing nearly happened to me! A woman driving at about 60-70mpg, driving in the middle of the road, i got out of her away and no more - nearly went through a hedge. I was so tempted to U-turn the car, go after her and smash her fucking mobile phone!


Hope you get her back on the road!
