Never enough money for mods, always other stuff takes priority(sp?) ?

This week end i've played about with that twin TB manifold, re-routed a cooling pipe, moved my PAS res'. Fitted it all back together and the cooling system and the PAS is fine but i've now got misfire one cylinder now, typical !

Not looked into it yet but i didn't touch the ignition side of things so i'm guessing it's a dodgy contact on one of the injectors wiring.

May be my wiring that i did for the Emerald about 4 years ago is playing up. I'm thinking of getting a stock engine wiring harness and re-do my wiring using as much as the stock wiring as posible.

sounds like fun!

i got angry with my wiring at the weekend and pulled a carrier bag full of wire and 2 amps (one was hidden inside the dash) out of the car, binned the nasty speakers that were fitted in the boot side panels, fitted oem speaker enclusures in the back and repaired the shredded mess of what was once the stereo wiring.

very theraputic (sp???)

It reminds me of when i did my swap and ripped the old alarm out and a load of other stuff and ended up with this pile.

bloody hell, there was a leg in there!!! winkeye

my pile was bigger, just for 2 amps and 2 speakers :? my reckond was 3 stuffed bags full from a VW scirocco. i found 3 complete sets of head unit wiring, 2 car phones, a broken cd multichanger setup, a cb radio, and a load more odd things!

i swear it was faster afterwards!!!

All weight savings help come the pod :)

Stereo gear is some thing i've not had for a while due to my head unit display buggering up, not going to bother putting my sub back in, all i'll use is some good quality 16cm speakers(DLS) run of an amp, should be plenty.

Which do you do though, Mods or ICE ? :)

not too much point worrying about weight with a M30 touring is there? it's not light but has plenty of torque. that said, i was tempted to leave the interior stripped out when i had it all apart!!!!

I'm tempted to go for a track day slut touring, cage and strip the interior, mat black paint etc
