Any recomendations for a road legal / track day tyre.

I wouldn't use a tyre with such a large profile for trackday use.

Personally i would purchase a set of 15"bbs wheels (or similar) use some toyo proxes just for track use.

Seconded, a set of BBS 15's without tyres can be got for less than £100; Canskill will sell you four 888s for £*** (cheaper than the price on their website) and you're not trying to get tyres to do something they're not designed for.

agree with the toyo 888's they are road legal slicks.

ive got them on my 'is' and wouldn't recomend them for the track.

have you tried 195-60-14's thats what i was running but cars to low for round my way so went for the 65 profile instea but the 60 is much better.
