my 316i is losing power :o
when its cold its not too bad,but as soon as it starts to warm up it goes really flat!
I have changed the inlet manifold gaskets as one was leaking and replaced the AFM with a tested 2nd hand one.
It runs very well, idling at around 700rpm,starts up 1st time everytime and is surprisingly very good on fuel!
Power loss i can only describe as-when i put my foot down in any gear not a lot seems to happen, but if i gradually back off the throttle it tries to pick up???
Any ideas guys?

i had exactly the same problem with my 316 (was 1800 carb though) and found out that the ignition timing was too far advanced if it pinks when you accelerate that normally gives it away but if i were you id get the timing checked as it can causepre ignition and over heating hope this helps dude
