How many boxes do i have?

Hi guys

Its dumb question time (again). I have a 320 auto F reg convertible and can't completely work out how many parts my exhaust comes in. Being a technical lowlife when I look under the car I have:

• One back box with twin pipes going into it
• A middle box which sits half way approx along the system
• The manifold bit comes down and sort of seems to lead into the middle section

Please don't laugh but what sort of system is this i.e. a 2 or 3 part. I can peer under the car and look for something —a if I new what it is.

If the exhaust is bolted after the 1st silencer from engine you have a 2 part system
If it is bolted before the 1st silencer you have a 3 part system
