Just been out for another tune-up. Wow... the performance increase is awesome. I don't need any figures to tell me this thing is pulling more horses!

Stock 325i Sport, with BBTB. I'm running MS I V3, with wasted spark, and LC-1 wideband sensor.

A few overexposed pics...

Still got some more tuning to do, and sort out the rather ropy idle. I added a tacho output, but it's not working. :? Hope to do a proper write-up when I get time.

Anyone want an AFM and a used dizzy cap and rotor?

Cant say I have noticed any change in induction noise. Using the stock air box.

awwwwwwwww welcome to the darkside mate, ms is a serious bit of equipment, and has massiv potential, good choice to run wasted spark also. btw i had the same problem with my tacho output, u need to solder in a resistor and a few diodes i think, its anoying i know check out www.extraefi.com i think some one on there says how to do it, but im gonna uses a ford fiesta rev guage for the time being cus i think that has all the shizzle allready in to the board on the back of the fezzie tacho.

Good work sir! Might have to come have a look sometime (girlfriend lives in Soton...) :thumb:

So go on, how much did it cost / how much of it did you do yourself?

I added the extra transistor and resistor. I'm assuming it's a 12V positive square wave. I will investigate further, thanks.

Did it all myself, with pointers from the Zone and other sites. I'm handy with a soldering iron, and write software for a living, but engine tuning and twiddling spanners is always a learning experience for me.

Doesn't cost as much as you would think.

Good effort Stuart :thumb:

nice having no dizzy, smooth and powerful, massive increase in midrange torque too no doubt.

the tach out is a PITA, the moronic uses a conditioned output for tach out, 12V square wave indeed, the pullup ans 12V feed should get it working, TBH my tach is driven by the moronic still, no time to finesse til end of July when the tax is up

re the idle, to improve quality use fixed angle timing based on TPS ADC count, set for 16 degrees and she'll purr dude.

I'd move the IAT too, there's minimal airflow where you've sited it, pop it in the ICV hole from the stock bellows and jubilee clip in place, minimal heatsoak and great flow
