well i was havin a good day, right up till it was time to go...just got my sport back last week after getting all the suspension sorted out so today was goin to be the first big run so went round checked "all" my fluids wheelnuts, pressures etc..off i go good clear run down to falkirk (car is feeling great now)pick up the mrs and on to Stirling services to meet a few of the zoners (good bunch of guys) had a good blether, admired each others cars. but then its time to go (ive still got an hour and a halfs drive home) jump in, put her in reverse... NOTHING. stick her in drive ok fine off we go only problem is its only first gear  so the guys come out have a look around discover theres no atf in the gear box james and pedro go off and get the fluid we put it in and 320touring tells us how to bleed the box that done all seems well and we head off with baddave watchin our back..turns out all is not well theres no top gear or o/d but i decide 65 in third =3200rpm= 8) stop in perth to get more atf (didnae have any) so set off again NO GEARS AGAIN :x upshot is shes stranded somewhere outside perth probably with smoke still pouring from the gear box    Big Thanks to baddave for backin us up and taking us home (he wouldnt even take a measly fiver winkeye )

Jeez, sorry to hear that tale, Graham... hope you get things sorted out.
Was good to see/meet up with a few Zoners last night although I thought there might have been a better turn-out.
Looking forward to Callendar.....

mate you don't bleed up an auto box.

engine warm and on level ground in P check the level on the dipstick. If it's all black/grey she needs a change! change the strainer and sumpgasket + plug while your there
