strut brace easy to fit and cheaper than anti roll bars

which would give the most body strength and improvement in handling .

taking in to consideration the differences in costs involved rougthly 100-200. what option should im take .

i could spend the difference on springs and a zone chip!.

dont hold back with info its all need how ever small

ARBs and strut braces have different function. ARB will reduce your body roll while strut braces will improve chasis rigidity and help suspension do its work.

If you dont have a decent suspension yet none of this mods will drasticaly improve your handling. First get a decent set of springs and shocks, or even better coilovers.

There is also an easy and cheap way of improving your ARBs. You can clamp two of them together. Its a bit hardcore, but if you do it right its effective and just as safe as aftermarket ARBs. I will use my car for drifting, and you need stiff rear end to drift. So ill just put 2 stock ARBs together and clamp them with some clips.

I haven't tried an ARB but a front strut brace did nothing for my car (1985 323i with slightly modified suspension). It still creaks and flexes over bumps :( . The E30's don't seem to have very stiff bodies, I can't even get the doors open an closed easily when it is jacked up or on a hoist.

Here is a pic of dual ARBs.

Looks like this guy is using custom made thingies to hold ARBs together. Im planning to use strong jubilee clips. Its all the same.

Well I can open the doors, just like normal, on my standard base model 1974 Mitsubishi Lancer and also on my fathers Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI (but then it should have a stiff chassis, being made for rallying) when they are on a jack or hoist.
