I'm going to be in Bude on this weekend, just up the road. Was thinking of poping down seeing it's not far. Is there room for a day visitor? If so when would be the best time and day to get here?

Took the car for her mot today.. Not due for 6 weeks but wanted to make sure I had time to fix any big jobs before the long journey down..

Failed on headlight alignment (though they said they'd sort on the retest), High idle (bloody air slide valve), loose driver seat back (lost m8 bolt, 10 minute job including taking it out of the car) and a bulging brake pipe (yet to sort)..

Pleasantly surprised by that.. Was expecting failures all over!
Tester mentioned he'd had a later BM in recently and it was in a lot worse condition!

Just got to find a way of fitting a tent, air bed, blankets, weeks worth of clothes, kettle, baby food, pram, wife and baby in a little E30? :D

A better suggestion than the wifes trailer and roof box ideas.. I'm sure we'll be okay if I can get her to pack just one suitcase for herself :)

I'm not sure which day might pop down to check out the karts. I'll keep an eye on the info being listed regarding excursions and put in an appearance somewhere. See ya there! :D

Good to hear!!

By the way, I fitted it all on the back seats of my cab, last time I went down in it!! Space, not a problem, boot is full of subs.

:D

Our last car was a Seat Cordoba - the boot on those things are big enough for a family of 3 to live in.. I'm not worried about the packing side but the wifes convinced theres not gonna be enough room. I imagine shes thinking of bringing her full wardrobe and everything the little un owns, just in case he grows into it

Still got to air the tent out and I'll have to have a test run at packing.. 5 weeks on Friday!

so true!

The wife is quite well trained with her own packing, but the kids seem to need to take every item of clothing they own, all their toys and half the medicine cabinet with them for anything more than an afternoon out.

Hence me not bringing them to this weekend

Its up near plymouth chris, near to mount edgecumbe etc.

portwrinkle

Some very nice beaches around there, whitsand, cawsand, kingsand, seaton, mt edgecumbe etc etc...

I was actually thinking of seaton for the next southwest meet. Though having a full meet that soon after newquay woudnt work.

Lovely little beach, parking right along the sea front, cafe, pub, etc etc..
