Surrounded by minters!

Working in Geremany this week and, jesus have I spotted some decent E30's.
Spotted a touring yesterday in a kind of mauve/purple. Anybody else ever seen one this colour. It was completely standard so I didn't think it had been re-sprayed this colour??
On a non-E30 note, I pulled up next to a glorious 3-door oak green Mk 2 Golf Synchro. Some old dear driving it. It looked like it had just left the factory!
Was tempted to ask her to sell it but my German is shite!

Mate if ever you need to break the ice with the German fraulines use one of the following lines. Works everytime for me when I'm out there:

Blasen Mir Meine liebling

or the winner every time line

Haben sie etwas gegan durschfall meine liebling.

Whether your trying to feed a pony or trying to get an old dorris' Mk2 golf, they will be putty in your hand!

Honest to God they work every time especially the latter.... I've woken up many a morning with my nose nestled in the hairy pit of a German Ladies Shotput champion thanks to those babies!!!
