My name is Josh and im from sydney Australia
I Bought my car as a stock standard 1990 model 318is, 2 and a bit years ago. after owning 2 previouse E30's
I installed my 2.7ltr alpina spec engine into it with all extras including wheels, suspension, interior.
i then installed a haltech ECU and custome made suspension.

i used re valved commodore (vauxel over there i think) rear shocks... notice the size differance

This is a pic of My old engine.

I then (in the search of some more power decided i needed a better exhaust system and wanted to knwo what would happen if you paid for the best

i was greatly dissapointed as there was not the increased power gain i was looking for.
I decided to add a mtech 2 bodykit and found oen and had it painted quickly.

the engine wasnt feelign the best so i decided to rebuild it and add a supercharger... i purchased an albrex unit that had been on an e30 previously. The kit looked good but i was then looking to update the engine to something newer.
i decided apon a m52b25 with a supercharger.
The engine has ARP bolts Throughout. the rest is fairly standard.
Its running an ASA supercharger with a Delco ECU and Kalmaker software.
This is what we have achieved over the past couple of weeks in between full time work

wiring done, soooo many wires left over

I have used a small casing e36 gearbox. thanks to reading on here i have purchased and fitted a mk1 Gti brake booster (have heapppsssss of space now) the problem was that mk1 gti's didnt come to australia and only some were privatly imported which made things hard.
there is a m50 inlet manifold bolted to the head now. i used the 328i exhaust manifold as the group buy on the m3 extractors looked like it was going to take too long (the guys did seem to make a tremendouse effort)
im after a radiator now. my problem is that i need a radiator with the top hose on the exhaust side because the nomal loction runs into the supercharger. if anyone has any ideas it would be great.
i will try and keep you all updated.
Josh
