Well it just doesnt clear the rear window and is quite annoying, is there some easy cure, like a blown fuse that would need changing?

Firstly make sure the orange light comes on when you use it! Else the fuse/something else has gone.
If it works and weakly do you mean it only demists a few lines and the rest stay misted up? That might need the strips patched up, someone else here should know more!

mine was broke recently too, one of the connectors on the rear window wasn't making contact - maybe clean them up, mine works but only a few elements work - no idea how they get damaged - hatchback yes but ?
Mine's the same, it's absolute SHITE. I think the connectors from the screen to the wiring loom are corroded - like all the others on the frigging car - but my hands can't get in to clean them.

How easy is it to replace the rear screen though?
Haven't got a rear passanger (4door) drivers side bronze window by any chance.. I've got a green one which looks a little poo!
