Just a quick 1, most 16" x 9" alloys I have come across have an offset of ET15 - is this a lot of work to get on an E30 with the correct tyres sizes or will it almost definately involve archwork?

just 5mm spacers in the front, they go straight on the back. I rolled my rear arches with a hammer and round bar, I was very careful and worked slowly around the arch. I am still deciding wheather to go 60/60 or 60/40 so I can't tell you much about rubbing. I'd be interested to hear from someone who has a big drop on these..

16x9" rim ET15 with 215/40-16 tire goes straight to E30, in the front you may have to put 2-3mm spacer / shave brake caliper or strut housing and in the back you have to roll the arches. I had roughly 80/60 drop with 9x16" + 215/40-16 and i had virtually no rubbing at all.
Of course it depends on how you drive, if you steer a lot and drive to bump then it touches the fenders on the front..

No way! I have 7.5x16 ET30 with 45mm struts and it is just 3-5 mm from strut. And 9x16 ET25 inner lip will be 14 mm deeper.CraigG wrote:guy on here is selling 9x16 rears with a 25mm offset, and says they are fine?
