Hi,

Apologies if this is a frequent topic on here but was wondering if there was an E30 buying guide anywhere (had a quick search and couldn't find one)?

Am hoping to sell my Mk2 Golf GTI shortly and hopefully buy a late 318i, 320i or 325i (4dr) and was just wondering what I should look for? Had a 1991 318i touring for about 6months a year and half ago but it needed fair bit of work done on it and didn't want to make the same mistake again. Presume I should just check for the normal - e.g service history, rust on wheel arches/doors, ripped seats, head gasket failure, dodgy gearboxes, tappety engines, and failed wheel bearings etc?

Cheers,

Peter

Nice one Ant. I'll have to get that too then. So that's Total BMW and BMWCar this month.
Anything worth reading in Performance BMW this time or is it all E36s?
