Using harleys carnauba wax......

i have head of some people applying it with their hands? Has anyone tried this? What is the best way to use it, could you heat the tin up so the wax melts? would make it a hell of alot easier to apply...I have been thinking of doing this for a while, but just want to make sure it is safe to do so......

You can apply wax with your hands, But to be honest you are better using a foam applicator to get a nice thin coat.

I leave my tub of wax on the dash while i wash and dry it, This allows it to soften and work a bit easier.

I really wouldn't, I'm not sure if that would change the way the wax performs.

Just place the wax in the sun for 20-30 minutes before you need it. That should soften it enough to spread thinly.

Not sure why you would want it in liquid form mate as surely you would just end up using a hell of a lot more, with things like this less is more! I fdon't have a problem using it as a solid as its soft enough anyway.
