Hi guys, just ordered a new lower front valanve. I will need to paint it in zinniban red is it? sorry for spelling. i know i can get cans from halfords but are there better places to get it?? also is the car top coated in laquer? its a 1988 320i.

Have a word with a local bodyshop. They should be able to get you cans of paint that are better quality than the halfords stuff.
Or some motorfactors can mix it, I use the holts system at my shop and the paint is nice quality.

yea im trying to find a place near me, online your looking at £12 a can but for that price you can also get a 1/4 litre can so may just use the spray gun after a little practice! also is there a particular type for wheels, i wanna re-do the bbs'.

dont go to halfords there paint doesnt match very well, try the dealers i think its 500ml for about £9
