After looking at the pic of the chassie on page two i'm wondering where the fuel tank is and how big it is ?
400 odd miles in a day, how many pit stops ?
Nice car BTW, new i should have bought one years ago :-x

I had no idea they were 'fabled' :D

They were standard fitment on the 66 RLE's produced and according to another Z1 friend of mine, there were between 16 and 18 standard Z1's independently converted to full RLE spec using OEM spare parts! NOT cheap!!

I guess from your comment then that 17" Alpina's in 4x100 are something of a rarity? I guess if they only ever put them on the RLE then I can see why this is the case....

:o: Sorry about that - I've just checked and he lives in Surrey, not Sussex!! (Maybe it's because I was in Sussex last weekend that I had that in mind?? )

Blimey - well spotted! 8)

We'd just been from Brighton - Devils Dyke and then dropped down to the pub for a bite to eat before heading back out for some more fun!

There was a Ferrari 360 in the pub carpark and it didn't get a second look from anyone because they were all so intruiged by the Zeds....

Here's a photo from Devils Dyke and one in Hove (another pub stop! :D )
