How easy is it to remove the headlamp wipers, mine don't work and I'd like to get shot of them without dismantling the car. Advice appreciated :?

Pretty easy...

You need to undo the 8mm nuts (8mm I think) to remove the wiper arms.

Then take off the head light grilles....two phillips screws and three clips on top.

Remove the headlights...three big phillips screws. Then you can remove the motors, held on by two 10mm bolts and nuts, you'll need to use a spanner and a socket, one each side to stop it moving and not undoing.

It's pretty easy. (EDIT...as I said up there  :) )

Try to remember which plugs go where when you take off the headlight assembly.

You don't have to remove the head lights you can just use a 10mm spanner and a socket on an extension to remove the motors then they will just wriggle out backwards in to the engine bay.

But don't remve them all togeather just make them work, it's really easy. I had both mine siezed but they both work now after about 20 mins work on each one.

Oh right...I didn't realise you could do it without taking the lights out.

It's so easy to remove the lights though, give you much more access?

:?

Well it would probably make life easier on the near side if you have ABS.
I'm all for fixing them cos they're really simple, and soon they'll be an endangered species. It's quite cool going down the Mway at night and seeing little shadows wiping the lights
