How many flexible brakes hoses on a 325 (1987)?

I've just bought new flexible front hoses from ECP for ~Ԛ£10 each, but been quoted ~Ԛ£12/each for Goodridge# hoses from Merlin Motorsport, and Ԛ£41 for a set (4 lines).

I'm thinking I should take back the std hoses and buy the set.....

I thought ABS cars had 6 lines?

Mark

# ECP siad Goodridge didn't do hoses for an E30.

Should be 6 regardless of ABS, 2 on the front, 2 on the rear and 2 on the trailing arms.

SBW0012-6 BMW 316-325 (E30) 82-91 (ABS) (NOT 323)

as far as I can tell this is the set

SBW0011-4 BMW 316-325 (E30) 82-91 also listed, but only a 4 hose kit.

Having looked at the ETK now I understand, 6 hoses but still only 1 hose to each caliper.

Having got the ECP hoses home when you screw them into the caliper the hex part isn't flush with the caliper, are there different hoses for the different calipers?

Is SBW0012-6 the Goodridge P/N?

Yep, looks like it, SBW0012-6-SS are the stainless ones, so I assume the ones without the -SS are the standard ones.
