just another mini update

visited Ant a couple of days ago
just to check a couple of things for me
(he is the only one I really trust with my engine)

and it turns out my waste gate was slightly open
at all times so a couple of adjustments
and it seats properly now
then on the drive home I find I have a new noise
but this is a good one you can now hear the thing spooling up at around 2.5k
ready to dump a gob full of air into the cylinders
and I am getting a nice wastegate flutter now too
not to mention that it pulls like a bloody train.

so I am all excited again like a kid with a new toy lol

only downside to my visit is Ant has spotted I have a tiny tiny crack
on a join on the hotside of the turbo
so just need to get that sorted
then its going on the rollers at a local place Lee (essexboy) found
will post up the results when I have them

Well done Malc wastegate flutter is the best glad it running ok
since i got mine back it really going well.
Put mine on RR last week around 170bhp and 170 lb/ft torque at 5.5psi your running more psi and no cat so look out

thats a good result

mine is running around 7/8 psi now
the only let down on mine is the auto box
but I am gonna get it on the rollers very soon hopefully
figures will be posted up on here
