What is this ?????

On sat i tried to take of my front shock to lower the car but i aborted this as i for got about the ball joint remover

so i put it all back together
then when i started the car this came up on the dash INSPECTION
what is this all about??????

not sure mate but have you left the wear indicator wire for the brake pads disconnected only a guess but might be it ???

don't worry about it,it's just coincedence(sp?) that its come on now.It's a service indicator to promt you to service the car i think ?

The light that has come on is simply a 12 month timer. Comes on every year to remind you to check various things.
Do a search on resetting service indicator lights to see how to extinguish it. You don't need fancy resetting tools, just a short piece of wire.
