I only driver my car at weekends, sometimes not even then. So every moment in my M3 is doin it! Beats driving my Astra company car everytime.
I have had moments of weakness wanting to sell up and wait until I could make better use of the car, 1 trip later, selling is far from my mind.
Arpil 2003 - 2004 = 3403km only...I am thinking this year is less, ouch! - I think I should get out more and stop using the Astra even if it is free!

Being a passenger in my 325 when my mate went for an all out 'fast one' round the NÃÂarburgring.

Mine is probably when I 1st bought the sport, the drive home when I bought it, it was a great sunny day, and it was my 1st 'proper' car!
I wish I could have said the same thing about the drive home in the M3 recently, but I was suffering from a severe flu, and I was driving an unfamiliar car, on unfamiliar roads and in the dark too...enjoying it now though!!

Paul you old romantic!
Im struggling to chose JUST ONE! Had so many wicked fun times in my SE.
One of the best must be drifting my way onto the M4 from Junction 49 roundabout with 2 mates in the car and a boot full of e30 spares on the way to Donnington last year! I converted both of them to e30s that day! (for those who were at Donnington, im on about Dumb and Dumber!...or should that be ugly and uglier?!)
Another good time must be with the same 2 mates behaving like a child on our way to swansea for a night out! Mate 1: "How fast is this then, Buzz?" Me:"She'll do the clock" Mate 1:"Fuk off! Shes too old for that!"
*I plant foot to the carpet and notify him as we go past the 120,130 and 140 markers* We ran out of road at 143 but i had him convinced!
3rd and last time i will suggest would be drifting my ex girlfriend round her hometown of Devizes in wiltshire. Drifting scared the sh1t out of her but she knew i got a kick from it and she said i could drive like a twat for 1 time only when she was in the car. I made the most of it and drifted absolutely every corner/roundabout possible. She was screaming and shouting at me for doing it but she let me carry on anyway! It must have done something to her, coz i got lucky 10 minutes after getting out of the car!
I didnt get much of that when i was with her so i remember that time well! lol

The day I bought my Sport, the drive home on a sunny summers evening
and the look on my parents faces when they drove up the driveway.
Probably should have told them I was going to buy it.

The best time in my e30.
Well in my white one was when some chav in a calibra thought i had a 316 more fool him.
And my touring well when i flew past a 320 after we had a dable he wasnt impressed when he saw it was a hearse neither was his misses with him.
Oh and the thumbs up off some guy in a 306 rally bit of mutual respect there as we both backed off when my rear twitched on the roundabout.
i didnt realise how fast them things are

Mine was the day I took it for a drive after the 2.8 conversion, it was so nice to get the car back on the road.
Also was a drive home from picking up the sport, I was driving next to a 318 as I blasted past and he gave me a knowing nod!
Another good time was when the knack of drifting clicked with me!

Too many just to name one,
My first fully insured drive!
Being out the front washing it and having people comment.
Being stuck in traffic (hear me out) and having a conversation with some bloke and his 6 year old son about the car.
Stopping to let some fine young ladies cross the road and having them all blow a kiss at me ;)
A couple of other moments involving women *ahem*

Gonna have to have two moments... First up.. Hangin' the back end out for the first time (a few days ago) all the way around a roundabout... Big grins all round
The other was on the back seat of my dads e30, as a kid falling asleep on the back seat to the smooth cruising exhaust tone. Alltogether now: ahhhh

The best monent was shortly after i bought my first e30 320. It was wet outside and the corners became very enjoyable for drifting. I was returning home from a small party. I was with my girlfriend. After drifting trough the first corner she was a bit scared (actually she was screaming), the second corner was she was quiet, but after the third corner she said something like that: "drifting is cool but if you wanna drift while i'm in the car then you have to buy better seats at least for me, 'cos i'm sliding from side to side
Now i'm allowed to drift even if she's in the car
The second best was last summer - i was doing about 90 mph on a highway in place where only 50 is allowed, and, of course there were cops hiding in the bushes near the road (some 30 metres away from it actually). And ofcourse they wanted to stop me but then happened a small disaster with the cop - he was a fat man, and, while running towards the road with a radar in one hand and with a striped stick in the other, he slipped and tumbled down on the muddy grass. So he didn't manage to stop me and didn't start following me
I had to stop a bit further (after i passed them and turned on to a smaller road) because i and my mate couldn't stop laughing and the driving probably would be too dangerous in that condition

Bringing it home for the first time, didn't tell my folks either, and having my Dad nagging me for a go in it.
Having the back end go for the first time when i weren't expecting it to, after that i was hooked.

I have a couple of favourites................
Firstly, if you have little or no respect for cars, like i didn't a number of years ago then off roading and rallying an E30 can be great fun,top moments bein g flying accross Salisbury Plain tracks at 80+ on a baking summers day, dust everywhere,as far as I was concerned I could have been participating in the Paris-Dakar Rally!
And whilst on the off roading subject another great time was had when me an a mate took on "The Ridgeway" in the same E30(Paul,your familiar with this i'm sure!),had great fun,got in a mess, reshaped the underside of the car and proved you don't need a Landy to go offroading!
Second memorible moment was in my Tourer cruising up the M6 at about 75,and spotted in the rear view mirror another Tourer,in lachs dressed in 'Pina rims.
He pulled along side me waving, thumbs up and grinning like a Cheshire cat (the gesture were made better by the fact he was driving a left hooker),he then dropped a gear and 170 horses screamed off ahead!
This was way before I was on the Zone and before i realised how much of a following the E30 had,it was great to see someone else who clearly loved his Tourer as much as me!

Mine has to be either when i first got that old Black 4 pot, was so good to finally get a car that i could be proud of.
Or the other one when i first felt the pull of 6 cylinders down a b-road in Worksop when test driving this current car.
