God i hate electrics, I have spent the whole of a day retro fitting an OBC, loom, temp sensor etc only to find that the bulbs behind the display had expired, however the display could be seen albeit very faint so i was confident that all was ok. the computer is taken out whilst a new Ԛ£20 Bulb panel is ordered, meanwhile the car goes to the local garage for some welding and spraying, on the cars return i refit the conputer only to find that the display is now lit but with no info showing. Oh and the central locking, rev counter, mpg gauge and interior light also no longer work it sounds like a fuse/ relay but cant understand the wireing diagrams in the haynes Man.

Take a look at my silly little website for the answers.

This is the ETM for a 325i.

Central locking is on fuse 27, which also feeds the OBC horn.
Interior lights are on fuse 21, which also feeds the OBC.
The rev counter etc are on fuse 10, which also feeds the OBC.
Looks like you might somehow have caused a multiple short circuit with the OBC.
The display lamps can be replaced easily at a cost of a few pence per lamp. Do a search on the subject, it's been covered many times before.
