dose any one know if a m20 head can be wielded to repair a crack.

depends on where the crack is.
Pete don't care about colour, He would shag a rainbow if he could find the end of it....

best avoided IMO better off with a tested secondhand or recon head from GSF and the like

ive had a car with the head welded in the same place i brought the car like that never had any problems with it but my mechanic says that the heads are only ever any good if they are x-rayed after they have been welded if i were you get down to the scrappy about a month ago a broght a complete 2.5i engine for £75 i just needed the head strippted it down the head had all recent new rockers,spring clips ,rods ,seals and cam guess im just jammie
