As good as everyone says they are and a lot lot more, takes a bit of getting used to at first with the LHD and the dogleg box, and can be off putting on first test drive etc. Feedback is awseome, and it pulls really well, 1st 2nd and 3rd gears are gone so quick! Motorway driving is also very good, pulls really well in 5th, and I heard somone say that you need to keep them high in the revs to keep them going, but I don't find that to be the case! The throttle response is amazing!

Sorry yeah details! It's a late 215bhp it's just shy of 101k (miles) it was imported from Germany in 1997, it has thousands of pounds worth of receipts with it, most importantly the timing chain! I know it doesn't need doing at 100k, but it saves me a possible job in the future. It alos has entirely new suspension due to the original EDC playing up, and a new clutch. It has black leather, and aircon, but the compressor is missing so obviously not working!

It needs a new scuttle, small bubble on N/S rear arch, new aerial (in the glovebox awaiting fitting) and a real good clean up under the bonnet, including the rocker and intake re-painted.

Ideal world I would have kept it and had the M3, I will get another sport, but needs must and I've always wanted an E30 M3, I'm just wondering when the 5 pot bug is going to start biting again, and I sell the M3 for a quattro...

keep the m3 for a few years and when you get to the opoint where your want of the quattro gets greater than that of the m3 then do it(it will be as difficult as letting go of the sport, i'm sure)and who knows, maybe in a few years we could do a swap...m3 for a sport.

They are nice, but I'm going to be keeping close to standard, so it will either be some 17" cross spoke split rims, or some 17" proper alpinas!

Welcome to the club and it looks like a fine example.

Most people don't think that the M3 will feel much different to a normal E30, but it is chalk & cheese.
I was surprised how much better it was that my old 325i Sport.

I have a AC compressor off my old M3 if your interested, if there are any other bits you need I might also have those in stock.

Cheers guys, Martin, it's missing the compressor and brackets, to be honest I've never seen any E30 M3's S14 engines with A/C fitted so can't tell what else I may have missing, the switch lights up, and you can hear the blower change speed, the pipes to the front of the engie bay are still there, and there's an extra rad in front of the rad is this part of the A/C system?

Yes the extra rad is for the A/C. I have the brackets and the compressor , but all the pipes and stuff has gone.
Both my M3's have had A/C.

Nice one simon, saw some of the pics on BMW forum. It looks a clean example. Keep those old lights of yours, they are the non smileys....like mine....I will be doing the smoke thing this year I think, but keeping my others

Wheels, my preference would be Alpinas (Still Saving) see Kelsons and some that have always been my favourites, but expensive MK

Enjoy, you will definitely not be disappointed.

Cheers Phil, I won't be discarding the old lights, though the N/S headlamp is cracked, the alpina's as fitted to Kelsons would definitely be the wheel of choice! But if not then I will settle for some 17" cross spokes.

No, I was actually thinking myself that it looks like it has! It's got those phillips blue vision bulbs, very good indeed, and it also helps that the lights are new, this makes a big difference in itself.
