Ive bought a Z3M. I know they werent too popular when they first cam out but that only helps with the fact that there arent many around and they are becoming much more popular now. 321bhp in a car that weighs a little more than a crisp packet results in performance that is 0-60 about in 5 seconds Its only done 35k and has only 1 owner from new!! Cant wait to pick it up.

I had a 2.8 from new in 1998. Despite the negative thoughts on its looks, it was possibly the best driver I've ever owned. You enjoy. M must be that much better.
By the way, mine was Dakar Yellow, yours is the wrong colour!
Selection of BMW hardtops available, please ask!

I might even get rid of the M3 if I like this alot as no matter how much money I throw at the M3 it wont ever be as fast as that!

Its not looking too good!!!
Ive had an email from the guy sending me the invoice for the car but it says +VAT which adds a massive chunk to the overall price of the car. Nowhere in the add did the guy mention the final price would be +VAT???
I dont want to send him a deposit until he confirms the price of the car!!!
When has a car ever had VAT on it??

it must have been put through his company, they don't pay vat when new and therefore pass it on to the next buyer.
I think?

Did you win it off ebay?
I can imagine the situation, the guy puts NO reserve auction and then is disapointed that it didn't make as much as he wanted so he trys to add some imaginary VAT onto it to cover his stupidity.

Plus VAT?? Leave it then,if he's been sneaky about the price, what else might he be being sneaky about?
If your shelling out a decent wedge of hard earned then the sale should be perfect and you should have no doubt's,you have otherwise you wouldn't have posted.
Theres another Z3M with Mrs Falkster written on it just waiting for you out there.

Yes it was ebay but it was a 'buy it now' advert with the option to put in your best offer which he accepted!

I didn't think VAT applied to cars, even when buying from a dealers. Only pay VAT on Commercials, and then only if the seller is VAT registered !

Panic over!!!
It was an error with the invoice. Apparently it was a template as the guy usually sells car parts and commercials!!
Should be ok so fingers crossed!!
