Isn't there a sticker on the front left hand shock tower under the bonnet ?

It should have the colour name and code on it.

I reackon that could be a one off candy colour. The closest BMW has done to this would be Calypso but this is a bit brighter than calypso....................and looks a bit cheaper IMO

cheers ,i think i would agree with you,probably a one off respray,i cant find a match the problem is the engine bay is exactly the same colour and i cant imagine any body going to that much trouble still i'm probably wrong

phone the your local dealer and give them the last seven digits of your chassis no. and they will give you the original paint code
