Iain, you're two roundabouts short of a road trip....
Gordon, you can't say that about people!
Cheers Mark. Hopefully see you guys tomorrow.
Got to go into Bournemouth in a bit to collect my rear window motors. Spadge gave me the fronts by mistake when I went to pick up the leather. He's been promising to post them for the last 3 weeks, but Colin's (oze30) wife is coming to Bournemouth this afternoon, and she's bringing them with her. Mad panic this eve to get them and the door cards fitted ready for tomorrow then.

Chris, yes please mate, that'd be great, much appreciated. Hopefully be there with a convoy about 8.45.

Dave, you're more than welcome mate. Easiest for you is meet up with us at Bere Regis garage on the roundabout, it's where the A31 meets the A35 from Poole, where I'll be joining you from. Easiest for you to go straight up the A31 from Southampton, just follow signs for Dorchester. You have my number if you need it.

Cheers all

Dave, not quite mate, you're in Corfe Mullen. Right at Merley rbt as you say, then straight on at the next roundabout, signposted Dorchester. Follow the road past the caravan place / little chef / garage just off the roundabout to the next rbt, straight across towards Bere Regis and Dorchester, this is a long road, about 8 miles going past a long wall on lhs. At next rbt, there is a garage ahead, a road to Poole to your left, and the Dorchester road to your right. We'll meet you there mate.
Call me if you get stuck.

Please don't be too late meeting up guys, don't want to keep Chris waiting at the other end...
Cheers

You need Pix dude !

Some guy called Chris came along and showed off his four pot turbo. Some cowboy had mullered it !

Seriously though Ant, you have done one heck of a wicked job there !

You doing Hop Farm at the end of the month ? Maidstone area ?

Ron P was on form, brought along an old shed of a 325 Sport, Andy from Wales had his immaculate Vert and the Z8 showed its head again, a beauty.

Good turn out, long drive back but interestingly enough your remap of the H27 suprised the Pimpmobile ! I attributed the sprint factor down to yourself and the long hot day when you did the custom remap !

Top man !

Pics soon to follow.....................................Q Uncle Ron

Wow, what a day. Convoy of 3 from Avon Park to Bere Regis, then SEVEN from there all the way to J25 of the M5.
Convoy was E30Mark, Wayne (pimpmobile), Dave (gaszman), Iain (HartgeH27), myself, and last, but by no means least, was Paul and Lisa (cookie325i) in their 'his n hers' Sports. ChrisP joined up with us at the M5 and led the convoy in (after a delay waiting for an E36 diesel), and Dave (davidt) joined us at Hestercombe later,

Got a few pics on my phone, camera battery was dead, guess who forgot to charge it... D'oh... :o:
Will upload them in a bit.
I'll start a picture thread in the pics section if noone else has by then, and put a link on here.

Cheers to all, great day out. Nice to meet a few new faces, ChrisP, (thanks for the guide duties mate, much appreciated), Ron, and several others.

Apologies to the guys kept waiting at J25 for that gutless turd of a diesel E36 wrongness... (he can do the :o: bit on that one... winkeye

Again, great day, thanks to all. Especially Ron for organising the day.

Bet your drive back wasn't much longer than ours... we took the scenic route...

Mark led us to Taunton, then I ended up leading after he missed a turn and went right round the roundabout, we got to the M5, I guessed at which way on the M5, and got it wrong. Ended up at J23 (Bridgewater.)
Still, a few back roads off the motorway via Glastonbury put us back on route again, just took longer than it looked on the map...
Still, all home safe - I think, did you get home without overheating again Mark? Hope all's well.

My pics are up...
Again apologies for the quality, they were taken on my phone, as the camera battery was dead!
Must get one that takes AAs instead of a special one...
Hope you enjoy.
Cheers all, again, a great day out.

I had a nice day and it was good to say hello to a few new people.
Chrisps Turbo conversion was a work of art and gave me some forced m30 ideas  and the burgundy e30 vert with euro style rims was my favourite e30 out of the lot (no offence to the others, they were all nice).

Dissapointed at my lack of show and shine prize, I think next time I should try bringing a shiny car :D

Got home OK! I *think* it's just the Si board / gauge, don't actually think it was overheating in the end.... haven't driven it since, will take it for a spin tonight and see what happens!

Nice route back by the way :thumb:

Good day out as usual, thanks Ron :D
