H&R Cup Kits

Excuse my ignorance but what exactly is an H&R cup kit ??, How does it differ from "normal" springs and shocks, i have been reading these debates with interest as my sport is very unpredictable in comparison with my previous A4 and i do not know if i am expecting too much for a 16 year old car or if my suspension/bushes could do with some attention.????

16 years is a long time. Probably your bushes, top-mounts AND shocks/springs could do with replacing.
They're all worth doing, and once you replace them you'll have a new car. The difference is instantly noticeable.
H&R have a very good reputation when it comes to the Cup kit. A couple of the guys on here have this set-up and swear by it. It comes very highly recommended, and it's not that expensive when compared to other alternatives that may not be as good.
Bilstein also have a good kit, but it's more money.
Worth investigating further.

Bilstein kit is no where near as good as the Cup kit. Bexley motorworks have a car with it on and its bouncy and horrible.
