I like different colours on different cars so, Ill go for silver (lachs?) on M3s, delphin grey on 325i, red on tourers and 318is and of course alpine white on shitty 4 door 320 i se's.

Nah ye dont need a poll, this way you can get a feel for what everyone likes and they can comment individually.e30Alex wrote:(can somone who understands the forum do a poll please???)

fair enuf, i think my fave is dolphin grey (first fast e30 i went in when i was 14 - hooked ever since), but maybe lachs silver. I agree that helrot red on 318is and touring is perfect, i sell paint where i work and the most common we sell is alpine white. dunno why tho....
Im a two car man. Shame my bike gets used more.Damn the MOT!

I think Alpine White suits the e30 (not because I got one) especially the sports.
Lachs looks great on any e30 as does any of the slivers and Greys. I love tourers in silver.
Calypso red on a cabrio or 2 door looks nice as well.
Royal Blue suits a 2 door and I'm quite fond of Cirrus (the light blue from about 89-91).
But my all time fave?????????? Mauritious Blue on a motorsport cabrio with Lotus white leather. Now wheres the Kleenex?
Not a fan of black or the solid reds even on sports.

Diamantschwartz.
Or cosmos black but I dont think thats an e30 colour.
Obviously, the non bmw colour that will look best on any e30 (or any car for that matter) is matt black.

hmm which to choose
kinda like brown, or maybe a nice beige with a brown interior
who am i kiddin, it has to be lachs for me although i would be tempted to trade for a granite silver.
calypso is kinda cool too when excecuted properly.
saw a vulcan grey one the other night which might sound a bit dull but with the right accessorys could look proper euro

Dolphin grey. It has a lovely greenish tinge in certain light.

Looks great WHEN clean and polished...godstar wrote:brilliant reds my fav, just looks so sexy when all clean and stands out.

Looks horrible when it's all pinky, faded and patchy...
Currently slumming it in an E46 Touring

Mauritius blue is one of mine but i still think white on a really clean sport looks the biz.
I still have a soft spot for brilliant red on a sport too, only when the spoiler and bonnet haven't turned pink.
1. Alpine white (only on a sport tech 2)
2. Mauritius Blue (on a cab - biased i know)
3. Brilliant red (again only on a sport tech 2)
