I'm guessing they've put on saloon springs by mistake as the touring's a lot heavier at the back
Take them back and have a shout and they'll change em!

If the garage put on the wrong springs, just insist that they change them.
It's their mistake, they should sort it out!
In answer to your question though, I don't know if they're hard to fit, sorry
I wouldn't imagine so though

You're not being a nob don't worry....I would guess that they'd have an ID number on them, but I wouldn't be sure where to look
Would have to wait for someone with a bit more knowledge to come along
If you describe the problem to the mechanics they really should realise their mistake and put the correct springs on for free if they have any decency at all...

There's a number stamped into the end of the original springs but you have to take them off to read it. I don't know about aftermarket ones though.

if the garage make noises, just remember:-
springs are what keep the wheels apart from the bodywork - all the dampers do is 'damp', i.e. stop the springs from springing endlessly.
Shocks can be completely u/s, but the car would never ground out if the springs are the correct ones.
clear as mud?
