Hi.
i have a tipical 325i brake disc set up!
Handbrake shoes, and calipers main!
changed my rear disc/drum and can no longer fit the disc over existing shoes.
Have taken down adjustment to zero
and unless i remove the adjuster for that extra movement
cant get it on.
I have even taken away abit of shoes no joy!
One side is on and working otherside Know chance.
Is there any after market adjusters i can use for extra mm clearance?
running out of ideas. I dont class myself as a fool and i have tried everywhich way i can but still no joy unless adjuster is removed.
Have also changed standard aduster from scrapy yesterday!

Sure some muppet in the past hasn't 'adjusted' the handbrake by tightening the cables at the lever?
Slacken the nuts right off at the lever and make sure the cables and expander are all working freely.

Failing the above, are you absolutely certain they're not upside down?

Yes sure about it the right way round.
Can double check adjustment on handle.
came off pretty easy not that much of a worn disc just upgraded!!!
