Has anyone been up there, if so what's it like as a track? Thinking of taking the sport up to give it some beans. winkeye

driven it a few times Howard, on turn up & drive trackdays there. A real good mixture of long fast corners and a proper tight bugger just before the start/finish straight, pretty decent runoff space, just take it easy & build speed.

Worth playing one of the TOCA games on PS or similar to learn the layout a bit

i live right next to it but never been on.

been a marshal when i was younger that was great.

the tight corner is one the tightest corner in the toca calender or something like that.

great track and i have been go karting with one of the guys who teaches the circuit there. top bloke races a 2002 but mainly for classic rallying.

when my conversion is done i will get straight on it.

pm me if you go i may get a chance to pop over and say hello, take a pic or 2 of you going round.

crofts my local track rallycrossed there quite a lot many years ago,, its an excellent track with a good mix and some nice high speed sections plus all the facilities are spot on now.

going back for another trackday soon with the TVR people as its a rare chance to run open pit lane which I prefer,, got a small vid from last years outing here.

We run an open pit lane.. and restrict the entry to 50 so there is more track space.. I think we are cheaper than them this year as well!

i think we are pretty much booked up for trackdays this year but it may be worth posting on the above site next time you run an event,, croft open pit lane is always popular.
