Munky's thoughts in his head:

"that darn thing shouldn't be on my side, f**k him, i'm staying here motherf**ker"

Or something like that.

The subconscious thought in my head anyway is self preservation :) Obviously I have a conscious side too and wouldn't swerve into a pram
Hell I think I wouldn't have time to notice if it was a pram or not! And In that situation if the dumb tw*t is on your side of the road presumabl the safest place to be and coincidentaly the largest targe and easiest place to swerve to would be the other side of the road!

the otherside of the road.... in front of the bus you mean, good idea.

i hit the kerb, not leaving the road. i didn't swerve onto the pavement starsky and hutch stylee. oh by the way, 1 new wheel needed, got one for £40 and new tyre getting fitted in the morning, £45+vat GREAT!

There could have been a cat sleeping peacefully by the kerb. Blissfully ignorant to the fact you were on a murderous rampage.

Not good Dom, hope it hasn't knocked your suspension out as well?

Was it in London? You know large amounts of the capital are covered by CCTV? Is there any chance?

You lads go over the biggest pile of rubbish.

e30's are built like steel tanks. You should've dropped a gear and floored
it head on into the 'tin foil' saxo cart thing!

OK you may have had to get the touch-up pen out, but he would be dead
and the roads a much safer place!!!

I spent a few days of last week straightening out a front corner of a Pug 106 (same thing as a Saxo, I'm informed), and you're not wrong about the tin foil bit.
I swear we cooked our Christmas turkey wrapped in thicker metal than those wings and bonnet!

Yes i was in London Gwyn, on fortess rd, kentish town. the suspension is fine thankfully and wheel and tyre will be sorted in the morning. has left me close to £100 out of pocket though so maybe you are right, might be a good idea to call the council in the morn to see if that strech of road is covered by cctv.

Me too, it amazes me the people who think they are better off in an e30 than something french. Give me my mums 02 plate clio for a crash anyday. I'd happily take it over my audi as well. The only way it might be better is at 80mph+ and then you are usually dead whatever car it is.

hi guys,

two nights ago, a drunk driver coming from the right, from a stop sign area, (he was driving trough, speeding no probs), blew me off the road onto the other side of the road, totally distroying my e30. regarding the looks of the car, i'm happy i'm still alive.
i never had the chance, to swerve or brake or anything, he just knocked me off the road at the last second, because there is a house on my right side of the crossroads, so that's why there's a big STOP sign and raised concrete bumps on his side. but won't do for drunk drivers, i guess.

I would call the local police, as they have access to all CCTV (even private stuff) Good luck!

Hi Check the bus company as most new buses have a camera at the front, side and rear(small black dome),which the company can download. As far as I know it is on a harddrive, and if you contact them fast enough they might be able to do something for you.

This is why I still have a big disgusting hook on the rear on my car although I never drive or own a trailer. A guy hit me from behind and wrecked his old astra lol.
And it's useful for muppets who'd rather use their horn instead of the gas pedal when wanting to overtake me.

Hope you get it sorted soon

If there's one thing I can't do with is saxo drivers who think they are F1 drivers.

im afraid the answer would still be a no. the danger was caused by his inapropreate atempt at overtaking a bus in an usutable place. not the speed he was traveling at. the danger would still have been as large if the bus was doing 15mph and the saxo was still within the 30mph limit.

also i find the thought that anyone anytime could be prosicuted for a minor infringement of a limit far more scary than the posibility of being hit by a saxo or bending a wheel.

(sorry, not ment as i direct dig and im making asumptions about you job here.)

ye, but if witnessed, then the muppet can be prosecuted for dangerous driving/due care and attention or due consideration for other road users, either way i was just commenting, and i know its not a direct big but at the uniform
