More e30 friendly tyres fitted (215/40/16 Contisport Contact 2). Rear H&R Porsche adapters swapped for 45mm ones bringing the ET to 7. Ground Control coilovers fitted.

Looks better but I'm still not happy. I think I'm going to sell the wheels and buy some different ones, bringing the tally up to 6 sets in under a year and a total of 3 miles driven. :D

D90s are now sold.

So in 1 year it's worn:

15" BBS
17" Toplines
17" Hartge / OZ Split rims
16" BBS RS003
16" D90s

+ the new wheels, and it's done approximately 3 miles under it's own power in that time! I think maybe I need to prioritise my efforts elsewhere on the car and get it running properly :D

Pics up once the new wheels are on.

OZ Turbos are lovely, but they wouldn't clear my brakes unfortunately.

I am fitting some Ronal Teddys. 8)

Adapters are H&R. 4x100 - 5x130 PCD. They are beautifully made actually. Very lightweight but top spec hardware etc. 10.2 Hi-ten allen head bolt fit them to the car and the Porsche wheel bolts then screw into helicoiled inserts in the adapters.

So yes they are 'the ones to convert you 4 stud to 5'.

Retail is circa £120 per 2.

I have 6 of them - 4 x 30mm ones and 2 x 45mm ones. They've done 1 mile on the car maximum.

I'll sell a set of 4 for £150 if you're interested.

Ste

Your a hero. Probably the only bloke who mod's his e30 like a early golf owner. And has the money to do so.

The hartges were the best in my opinion.

What about zender turbos? Not the 15" but the 16x8"s 5 stud.

You find me some dude and I'll fit them. :D

Actually thinking about it I don't want to swap to 5 stud so it's not a good plan for me. I always want to be able to fit my original cross spokes for track silliness.

"Has the money to do so"? Not sure you need money Jon - every time I change my wheels I seem to end up at least a few hundred quid better off. :D
