Hello all,
Does anyone know if the 13 button OBC will work with an 86 325i? (phase 1) If it will, will the loom have to be changed, or is there an allowance for it? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
13 Button OBC into a 86 325i. Possible?

The wire that you have that goes to no where could be the green capped one which goes to the indicator stalk. The OBC has a special indicator stalk that when pressed it scrolls through the OBC display.

I've heard there will be problems with accuracy and OBC memory if the coding plug is not the same as the plug on the clocks AND the correct plug for your model car / engine.
I fitted an OBC to my 94 318i Touring and it goes nuts every 5 minutes, I have since ordered the 4-2 Coding plug for it at £38.

what engine and clocks are you runnin manc? think you probably mentioned on the phone but i cant remember.
might be able to send the plug from the clocks with the kit if its a 6 pot, might help using them together.
going out to start pulling it out very carefully.
