This has been covered a couple of times before, but the general overview is that they can be made to fit, but are MILES too big for an M20.

I kind of guessed they could be made to fit but forgive my ignorance, what do you mean by miles too big?

too large in diameter - remember they supply a 3.0/3.2 4v engine under normal circumstances

the cc to throttle ratio will be out of whack
ie by too big, Alex is saying you'll have max GO @ 2/3rds throttle opening, the rest doing nothing, as there's too much throttle for the engines displacement.
given the work involved making the S50 TB's fit in the 1st place, and the nightmare of adapting them to even fit the head, Dbilas seem cheap

HIi
The throttle bodies are 50 dia meter intake, but tapper and the discharge side has an area equal to 40mm dia. The linkage is progresive which should help at part throttle.
I will be installing mine in the next couple weeks so we will see how they work

That's a bloody good way of explaining that! Will have to remember that oneyou'll have max GO @ 2/3rds throttle opening, the rest doing nothing
