I rate Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD 3s.

They are good in the dry and good in the wet. They disperse shedloads of water apparently.

They wear a little quickly when used hard, but they are very good.

totally agree - make sure they are GSD3 and not GSD2.

I've had these for 2 years on my Impreza, so they do last very well, mostly because there is so little pattern at the edges you can wear them down a lot further and they still seem legal (that doesn't make sense, but look at the tread and you'll see what I mean)

i have the 2's on mine and that arse end is planted in the wet on my 325 sport. But as u know a bit of respect with these in the wet should always be remembered!

I believe the 2s are older - some outlets still have them, but www.goodyear.co.uk is unclear

I know the 3s are good, and like I said the tread pattern AND the performance/abillity seems to last - just look at the picture!

ps - if you are strapped for cash, don't belittle the Eagle Ventura - I have these on my Mk1 Golf GTi, and they too are excellent in the wet, but not speed-rated as highly, and maybe work so well because the GTi is so light.
