Hello,
Im having a bit of trouble with my power windows in my 318is, When i have the doors closed the windows will not go up or down but when i have 1 of the doors open both windows operate perfectly. Any suggestions on whats wrong with them? Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you!

I hit a big bump on the road recently, with the low profile tyres and 17 inch alpina's, a big shock went through the car! Now i cant open or close the passanger side window

"Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth."
Ouch! Have you had a look at the connections and mechanism for the window the bump might have knocked something out or loose? Ive tried the fuses with no luck. I suspect its those electrical door pins that tell the power windows when the doors are closed. Is there any way to test them? sorry i don't know the name of them.

Teach you to run silly wheels and tyres!
If it's only one side affected, then it's likely to be the switch or the door hinge pillar plug and socket. Nothing to do with door pins or fuses.
