Couldnt find my axle stands this afternoon as I needed to remove the diff, cats and front legs from my E34 so I got a bit 'inventive' with some oil drums

As you can see theyre much more roomy than the standard axle stands aswell :)

Chains through the doors and a Hiab arm, the standard jack didnt give enough clearance :D

Another poor E34 being raped...why do so many get broken?! :? (I'm currently doing up an E34 535i to get back on the road next week hopefully).

Cool use of oil drums though!

The only E34 that appeals to me is the 4 litre V8 touring. The M50 lumps just dont have the guts for em
