Remaking films with E30's
Moderator: martauto
What film would you like them (film makers) to remake with an E30.
Personally I would love Christine to be remade as a UK film with an E30. Would love to see the coming to life bit in Darnells garage when Arnie stands in front of Christine and says "show me", always sends a shiver down my spine.
A UK version of Vanishing Point would be cool
Gone in 60 Seconds (original film) but with an E30 M3
German version of Mad Max with souped up E30 pursuit cars
Sorry been off work for a week and bored out of my mind

A uk version of the original vanishing point, set in the late 80s with the driver in an m3, or maybe a gritty Uk version of "the driver".Cotty180 wrote:What film would you like them (film makers) to remake with an E30.

the original french Taxi.
Still directed by luc besson so it still has the incredible camerawork for the chases, but with an e30 (touring) instead of the pug 405.
E30 vs 190e.....

Duel would be cool,it would have to be with a really shit 316 carb chromer,in faded red and wheel trims being hunted down by a phsyco in a 40ft 1978 Bedford wagon.

X5 V8 for thrills, CRV for chills, Range Rover P38 V8 for sooooo much aggravation...

Yup thats the one... followed by the moped parade where one does a full flip (then lands and you see bits of the suspension flying off).Chris-W wrote:Isn't that the one with the, frankly, stunning opening sequence on a moped?munky30 wrote:the original french Taxi.

Very poor script, subtitles, pretty lame story... very lame acting, but luc besson + car chases = some of the best chase scenes I have seen.
