I'm off 27th through to and including the 30th. Means I am working the Sunday and Monday at the end of that weekend.

Like I said going for a new job so it all may change yet :)

Friday evening, beer and bbq accompanied by much amusing tent setting up and more beer.

Saturday, hangover and meat belly from last nights bbq followed by twin engined 70mph karting, followed by a drive down some of cornwalls finest b roads, taking in a few of the local sights, to a pub for food, then a drive back to the campsite and then into newquay for beer and beer.

sunday, hangover, drive home... or some people are staying on for a while longer to soak up the sun on some of englands finest beaches, and more beer.

Camping is £5 a night iirc.

Why so? Because 6 badly made films, poorly written and even more poorly scripted, not to mention the atrocious acting, dont make me jizz and spunk all my money on plastic figures to keep M.I.B just in case someone even sadder than me comes along in ten years and offers me £2 more than I paid for them?

Shite script, shite actors, shiiiite effects.

I also think Lord of the rings is w*nk too.

Oh and I dont like chocolate or ice cream.

That's it Munky get it all out now, don't hold back.

I bet you kick puppies as well?

I also don't like Star Wars nor have ever been able to sit through a whole one but you can't help but pick up on the references as they are quoted so often.

It's the law. Hate Starwars = Ghey!

No justification. Learn to live with your title!! winkeye

Collecting figures is ghey too. That's just too much and obviously a front for paedophillia.

I hope you understand now and can make the necesary lifestyle adjustments for you to fit in your appropriate box!!!!

spelling gay as ghey, is gay.

Whats so f*cking special about starwars? What makes it stand out from the ten million other poorly made space tat films that hollywood mills out?

Its not like they re-wrote the bible, just cobbled together a very loose plot, some talentless unheard of (at the time) actors and a load of plastic toy spaceships against a black sheet with christmas tree lights glued onto it...

And the new films... go on, try and claim they're good in any way... i dare you... but before you do... three words... Ja Ja Binks.

Ok Gay, for your benefit!!!

Ray Parks who played Darth Maul trained at the London wushu branch of the Kungfu club I used to attend. Awesome practitioner.

Lightsabres over rule Ja Ja binks.

The Force rules. Even Michael Jackson wrote about it (while he was still black and funky).

Pod racing

Is that why they gave him about two words to say? Being able to fight doesnt justify being the 'starring role' in a film (except yoda, realistically he is the only reason people watch these 'films')
Lightsabres over rule Ja Ja binks.
Nothing could possibly ever over rule the incredible shiteness (not to mention pseudo racism) that is Ja Ja Binks.

Even neon lights being swirled around so they make pretty patterns.
The Force rules. Even Michael Jackson wrote about it (while he was still black and funky).
Bringing michael jackson, the pasty plastic faced paedo freak, into any argument is niot a good defence.
Pod racing
Ahhhh franchising... there's nothing like slapping a good (pointless, nothing to do with the storyline) bit of spaceship racing into a film to sell a few computer games.

:D

No the pod racing scene in the film is good.

Appreciate Darth Maul for his athleticism and technical ability in fight scenes. Easily the best fight scene in any Starwars film.

MJ, countered the inevitable paedo dig by stating in his pre casper the ghost form.

Pseudo racism??? Tedious at best!

yes'm. sho boss, whatever you say boss, they stopped just short of referring to him as 'boy' and making him sleep in the pig sty.

He was still a paedo when he was black.

Yes the actor that played darth maul was a good athlete. Does that justify the film somehow? If it does I'm obviously missing something.....

pod racing, merchandising... 'ghey' as they say.

I'd say the racism is down to interpetation. It was just pidgeon English. The silly buggers were given a glorious battle at the end of the film which IMO removes any patronising condacention (sp), giving the comic relief some credibility.

Being a huuuuge martial arts fan and not being able to perform the butterfly kick with twist (just do butterfly), also appreciating the perfect execution of the simplest of side thrusts etc made the film for me!!!!

Anyway to keep it on topic... Should have filmed it in Cornwall, scrapped the pod racers and used e30's!! winkeye

Can see parallels with how a deep south slave would have ennunciated. Still, a bit strong to label it racist. I know there was murmours about it from some media whores when the film came out. Really it was just a loveable character for the kids to laugh at.

In Cornwall

I was just quoting what I was told (by some cornish people) about it... personally i dont really think it was racist, but the media did.

And they're always right, especially the cornish media.

yes, very.

I can see how it could be taken as racist but as always its just the media over reacting and sensationalising things.

It's been about a year since I've trained seriously. Did kungfu for 6 years IIRC then kickboxing for about 3 or 4ish. Would like to get back into it but it's taking a back seat for the gym right now.

What have you studied?

What sort of Muai Thay? Traditional a la Tony Jaa or the up-to-date competition based style?

Kick Boxing club in Yeovil is pretty good. The instructor has a few students that train with the GB team, has trained 4 or 5 world champions, although there are so many different affiliations, most people claim to know of world champions!!!

Muay Thai is quite a tough discipline. To truly compete at any level, you have to take on the Thai's, who fight to put food on their table. Lose and go hungry. Could say they're a little more motivated!!!

I guess your legs should be fairl effective with your TKD background. Mine used to be sharp, haven't trained them in such a long time, although I got to full extension with axe kicks in less than 20 reps. Quite pleased that I hand't lost too much flexibility in that area. My groin stretching was abysmal.
